Job Description
Indrotec is currently recruiting qualified Production Trainers to work at a well-established medical device company located in Bloomington, MN. QTS, a Cretex corporation, is a company that specializes in medical device packaging. Production Trainers are responsible for identifying, prioritizing, and monitoring training needs of new and existing employees. These are contract-to-hire opportunities that could lead to long-term career opportunities!

Qualified candidates will have the following skills and abilities
  • Develop standardized training procedures
  • Train new manufacturing technicians when they are hired, and continue training of existing manufacturing technicians
  • Support 5S and LEAN training of manufacturing technicians
  • Collaborate on new manufacturing processes prior to DCR submission
  • Review and update employee training profiles
  • Support and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements
  • Read, understand, and follow work instructions and standard work
  • Partner with other business segments: sales/marketing, customer service, engineering, quality, and finance
  • Understand customer needs and the core business markets we serve
  • Ensure business systems are implemented, maintained, and functioning properly
  • Complete all other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
  • Ability to work required hours to support either 1st shift (shift core hours Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm) or 2nd Shift (shift core hours Monday-Friday 2:45pm-11:15pm). Actual hours worked on a given day may vary in terms of start and end time depending on the needs of the department and/or the business (e.g., meetings, trainings, etc.).
  • Six months training experience required
  • Some college coursework completed
  • Understanding of traceability requirements
  • Knowledgeable in assembly processes
  • Demonstrated success in training others in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in using PLM or ERP systems
  • Knowledge of, and the ability to describe, LEAN Manufacturing Methodologies to others
  • Awareness of workplace safety and OSHA regulations
  • Knowledge or training pertaining to FDA, cGMP and ISO regulations
  • Strong observational skill and attention to detail
  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention-to-detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certificates in related fields or training
  • Associates Degree preferred
  • Multi-lingual (English & Khmer)
  • Epicor MES experience
  • Must be able to work 1st shift (Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm) and 2nd shift (Monday-Friday 2:45pm-11:15pm) schedules to support either shift at any given time (actual hours worked on a given day may vary depending on needs of the department and/or business)
Pay Rate:
  • $39K - $50K/year (salaried)
