Production Supervisor

Bloomington, MN

We're currently recruiting a Production Supervisor and a Distribution Supervisor for ReSound, located in Bloomington.

The Production Supervisor is responsible to lead and organize a large manufacturing operations team of approximately 30 employees with established policies and procedures and with an emphasis on customer satisfaction. Also ensures conformance to established practices and proper training of staff.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the overall strategic direction, coordination, and success of their department
  • Provide effective, safe, and efficient working conditions, space, resources, and a positive environment that will maximize the effectiveness of employees in accomplishing the objectives of the department
  • Responsible for cost, compliance, product quality, efficiency, product turn-around time and employee engagement
  • Develop continuous improvement culture and processes to achieve business strategy and goals relative to profitability, cost control, and increased efficiency
  • Take the lead position on setting team objectives, identifying the milestones, and executing the plan
  • Mentor Production leads to build bench strength and future managers
  • Manage and oversee production training, including dedicated trainers and incoming employees
  • Review and track open positions in production, managing training support and need throughout the facility
  • Establish and maintain process control charts to ensure conformance
  • Perform activities necessary for the effective management of the department staff, including employee safety, selection and development of employees, salary administration, budget administration, employee counseling, organization goals and objectives, and planning, organizing, integrating, measuring, and reporting the work performed within the department
  • Experience in a medical or regulated manufacturing environment
  • Bachelor's Degree in business or engineering preferred
  • 2-3 years of experience working in a regulated environment (e.g. ISO 9001, ISO 13485, FDA QSR)

  • Second shift
  • Direct Hire
  • $85,000 - $90,000 with annual bonus
