Job Description
Indrotec is currently recruiting for Animal Research Technicians to join the Medtronic Physiological Research Lab located in Coon Rapids. Employees will work as part of a team performing animal husbandry duties in various areas. This position is temp to hire.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Understand and maintain compliance and all other applicable regulations
- Animal husbandry and handling
- Data collection and documentation
- Maintain equipment
- Provide a clean and safe environment for all animals
- Weekend and holiday shift coverage is required
- Perform clerical functions to ensure organized and accurate reporting
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to pass a drug test
- Experience handling multiple animal species
- Experience working independently and as part of a team
- Experience working with computer applications and web based applications
Schedule
- Shift: 7am to 3:30pm (Monday through Friday)
- $15.96 - $19.95 p/hour
